The first quarter of 2024 has been an insightful period for business finance and solutions applications in the United States. Leveraging data from Sensor Tower, we can delve into the performance of the top apps in this category.

ADP Mobile Solutions saw a promising start in January with downloads peaking at 204K and a slight downtrend to 141K by March. Weekly active users exhibited an initial rise from 4.71M to 4.98M, followed by a gradual fall, stabilizing around 4.35M by the end of the quarter.

For Square Point of Sale (POS), download numbers showed a steady increase from 38K in the first week to a high of 57K towards February's end, with a slight drop to 46K by March's close. Weekly active users hovered around the 330K mark, with minor fluctuations throughout the quarter.

Intuit's QuickBooks Accounting demonstrated a strong revenue trend, starting at $392K and reaching a peak of $459K towards the end of February, before settling at $388K in the last week of March. Downloads in January surged to 63K but then followed a downward trend to 33K. The app's weekly active users saw a peak of 395K in late January, with a slight dip to 364K by the quarter's end.

DailyPay On-Demand Pay experienced a steady rise in downloads from 29K to 36K in February, after which the numbers normalized to around 32K. Weekly active users showed a consistent increase from 779K at the beginning of January to a high of 853K in mid-March, followed by a minor decrease to 830K.

Lastly, Paycor Mobile had a fluctuating download trend, with an initial 32K in January, a dip to 21K in February, and a rise back to 24K by the end of March. The app's weekly active users started at 528K, dipped to 497K in late January, and gradually increased to 528K by the end of the quarter.
